Peter Gene Hernandez known professionally as Bruno Mars , can be an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and choreographer. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, by a group of musicians, Mars began making music at the early age and performed in various musical venues as part of his hometown throughout his childhood. He finished secondary school and moved to Chicago to pursue a musical career. After being dropped by Motown Records, Mars signed a recording hire Atlantic Records in 2009.
